Studio Practice, Selected Images

My work is a tactile negotiation with the raw, the salvaged, and the everyday. Rooted in the spirit of Arte Povera, the practice rejects the boundary between humble utilitarian materials and fine art. Plaster, silica sand, reclaimed vinyl, and job site debris are brought into direct conversation with gold leaf and sculpted organic forms. Driven by festina lente, process relies on patient iteration: testing ratios, layering textures, and honoring the history of discarded media.
